Tea cup candles

These are such cuties, super easy and fun to make.

What you need:
1 teacup (check out some local charity shops)
1 wick
2 wooden sticks
wax (you can use old candles, bees wax, paraffin wax, or any kind of wax really…the amount depends on the size of your cup)
essential oils
Hot glue gun

How to do it:

Prepare the cup by sticking the wick on to the bottom of the cup, with the hot glue gun
(this will prevent the wick from rising once you fill in the hot wax)
Put the wick in between 2 wooden sticks and lye across the cup to hold it in place

Put the wax in a (heat save)bowl and place in a saucepan with boiling water
Once melted, mix in the essential oils (however much you like)

Fill the melted wax into the cup until 3/4 are filled
(as you can see i went a little overboard!)

Once you are happy. Let the wax cool. Do not put the cup in the fridge but let it set in normal room temperature.
Wait for a few hours, Cut the wick to desired length and boom- done.

A beautiful little present for someone or for you to enjoy!
